Water conservation is a hot topic for a few different reasons which are mainly environmental and financial. While water conservation can be a national issue, there are small ways that you can make a difference on the local and global level. As plumbers we deal with all things water. From leaky faucets to clogged drains. So we wanted to create an infographic about how we can educate others to conserve water in their homes.

This infographic presents some information about typical domestic water usage and opportunities to conserve. The information is presented with associated icons that serve to visualize the subject matter at hand. While some data visualization is presented, missed opportunities reinforce the need to focus on the piece's text. The design — while benefitting from a consistent color palette — does have some fluctuation in illustration style. This infographic is packed full of great information and data; however, the sentence-based approach may slow readers down. With clearly labeled sections, organization shines. Overall, this piece has a helpful foundation and important information — it just needs a bit more clarity in its visual choices and stylistic choices. We'd give this a D.
