The icons shown for each possible innovation, coupled with their percentage score, do a pretty good job of conveying what each section is about. The viewer could skip reading the extra text and in many cases still make a good guess about the specific topic of each individual section. Something that’s missing is a more general visual theme about innovations, though: while the individual icons are pretty clear, nothing about the overall design shows innovations — a good place to do that would be the header, where there could be an image of someone dreaming up the below inventions, or lightbulbs, or some other visual metaphor that speaks to innovations at a high level.
Next, no sources are listed for this design, so it’s difficult to vet the likelihoods of each event happening.
In all I’d give this an F as an infographic; I would like to see a little less text and a little more use of visual metaphor to carry the overall theme, and a more reliable reference to source materials for viewers to be able to vet the information for themselves — as-is it comes across a bit self-serving.

I'd like to see a little less text and a little more use of visual metaphor to carry the overall theme. While the individual icons are pretty effective for their individual sections, I don't see a larger visual reference to innovation being made — that would help this out quite a bit. Sources would also improve credibility.
