Dog grooming is an essential part of the health and well-being of your dog. Not only is grooming your dog important for your dog’s health but it’s also a great opportunity for owners and dogs to have some good quality bonding time.
Grooming can also be quite tedious and if done wrong can cause your dog serious harm which is why it’s imperative to have the right information before you begin. There are proper techniques and certain times that dog grooming activities are necessary which is why we’ve created this infographic to help new or existing dog owners groom their pets in the best way possible.
This infographic is only an outline and can be covered more in-depth with proper training. Fortunately, there are many resource options locally and on the internet, that dog owners can use to make sure their dog is getting the best care it needs.
For example, you could take a local dog grooming class once a week to extend your dog grooming knowledge or even consider online dog grooming courses that allow you to learn in your own time.
Either way, if you want to groom your dog correctly you should consider some form of training.

This design shows the different types of grooming necessary for most dogs and a suggested timeline of when to take care of those tasks. The header image is descriptive and the use of icons for each type of grooming is a helpful visual queue in case readers want to skip to a certain type of care. Making the timing large and bold along with the title for each type of care also helps with this. Some of the detailed summaries get a bit on the long side; keep things short (like your dog's nails!) on infographics. Finally, without sources it's tough to say if these suggestions are accurate; make sure to include a source list. In all we'd give this a D+.
