We all know that having a baby can cause some big changes to a woman’s body. It’s not just the effect of pregnancy and the birth itself but also the effects of nursing. Being a mother is full of exciting and positive milestones and women should not be deterred by concerns about the effect on their body.
Advances in plastic surgery have made it an increasingly viable option for women looking to alter specific features they are unhappy with. The mommy makeover is a combination of minor cosmetic surgery procedures and other techniques which are used to return a woman’s appearance to how it was prior to giving birth. These are usually outpatient procedures and women need not spend more than a few hours in the hospital for each session.
The most common procedures given are the breast lift and the tummy tuck. The breast lift involves a small incision near the breast area and then removes excessive skin and reshapes the tissue. Some women opt to have implants put in as part of the procedure. A tummy tuck, on the other hand, involves physical structures being placed in an incision made across the lower abdomen. The surgeon then re-drapes the remaining skin and pulls it tight before closing the incision.

This infographic gives information about a couple of specific plastic surgery procedures. The images show different steps of each procedure as well as the parts of the body in question. The infographic is fairly concise and well organized, although the first section after the intro could use a header to describe what it'll cover (length of procedure, types of surgeries that may be considered). There are some areas where text could be reduced to streamline and simplify the design, and it would be nice to see visualization for the stats at the end as well. In all we'd give this a C.
