The topic of this infographic is very compelling and the data lends itself to great data viz opportunities, but the infographic suffers from a number of data visualization mistakes that could have been avoided. To begin, for ease of viewing, the data should be ordered from smallest financial loss (Twitter) to largest. Next, after reviewing the pie charts multiple times, it isn't clear what their purpose is. A pie chart is meant to show a part of a whole, but it looks as if these pie charts are showing revenue loss. If this is true, then they are each on their own scale because the amount of red filled in for $11.7M (under Facebook) is far less than the amount of red shown for only $4.8M under Amazon. This lack of consistent scale continues with the Loss charts, each of which are clearly using a different scale for revenue. This would be far better displayed as a single bar graph showing revenue loss with a call out showing time.
