Everyone has heard of breast cancer but most have not heard of Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC): a rare and very aggressive disease in which cancer cells block lymph vessels in the skin of the breast. This type of breast cancer is called “inflammatory” because the breast often looks swollen and red, or “inflamed.” IBC accounts for only 1-5% of all breast cancer and yet it is the most lethal. The design and script are very well done, blending an accessible aesthetic with articulate medical information. The illustrative elements are strong but a little scarce for an infographic in relation to how much text there is. More visuals will make this piece even stronger than it already is.
