The thriving nursing industry is seeing a shortage of nurses. From hospitals to homes, registered nurses are an essential part of the health and medical industries. While it’s the highest growing occupation in the United States, nursing is somehow still facing a shortage that’s expected to continue for the next decade, despite available positions.
An intense nursing shortage is expected through 2030. This shortage is credited to baby boomers reaching ages where medical assistance is required more frequently. Aurora University’s online nursing degree programs train nurses to fill this growing demand.

Final Grade
The header imagery alongside the title of this infographic is very helpful in setting the stage for the overall subject: nursing. The first section offers a good example of easy-to-read data visualization, and typography is used where numbers are just too big to visualize properly (like the nurse shortage of 800,000 to 1,000,000). There are a few additional places where data viz could be used and/or text could be reduced; a quick skim of the infographic makes it looks like there is a lot to read, and for infographics it's easy to drop some formalities in sentences for the sake of expediency. In all we'd give this a B!
