PO Box 824Organic wines, as the name suggest, are wines made from organically grown grapes. They are free from artificial fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or any form of GMO’s. However, enzymes as well as other chemicals can be used in the winemaking process.
Biodynamic, on the other hand, is still organic but a bit more environment-friendly than organic wine. The vineyard is viewed as a living ecosystem and all forms of life—soil microbes, animals, vines—grow in a delicate balance with each other—without pesticides or herbicides. Still, after manually picking the grapes, winemakers are said to employ chemicals.
TRIVIA: The idea about biodynamic started in 1920’s from an Austrian man named Rudolf Steiner. He was the first to develop unique agricultural system where all living forms are inter-related. Somehow, it worked.
Natural wines can be organic or biodynamic in the vineyard. The only difference is that they are free of any additives during the winemaking process. This means, no sulfite and no yeasts. That’s the reason most natural wines appear cloudy. But don’t worry. They are safe.
Although there are some controversies claiming that some natural wines have low additives, which vary from bottle to bottle, we really don’t know, unless you’re the winemaker. Nevertheless, wines—be it organic, biodynamic, or natural—will always be a drink we all love.

This design has an abundance of great information about different types of wine by grape-growing conditions. The photos and color palette help establish the subject of wine as a whole, but the specifics of the infographic are conveyed solely through text. One can't visually see the difference between each of the three types, and all of the information about the differences is described in paragraph form, which is not best practice for an infographic. It's important for the information to be conveyed through visual means whenever possible — and all text should be short-form for easy consumption. In all we'd have to give this an F.
