Final Grade

This infographic takes a look at referral marketing techniques and helps the reader draw conclusions about which techniques are most effective. The opening image, an illustration with design overlay, does an effective job at framing efforts to keep up in the ever-changing world of product/service discovery as a race—a metaphor that continues throughout the infographic. The color scheme, too, is established in this illustration, and continues throughout, giving the overall piece a strong sense of unity. While pairing photography with illustration doesn't always work, the piece overall does strong work visually communicating its metaphor and has an attractive, shareable design. When it comes to content, the piece is text-light with a focus on visual communication, making it more usable and shareable. Overall, we'd give this an A.
