This infographic discusses New Year's resolutions. Data visualization is the primary visual driver of this design since there isn't any imagery that evokes New Year's resolutions themselves. That said, there is some room for improvement in the data visualizations. In the Success Rates by Gender category the colors for Successful and Unsuccessful alternate by gender. Orange represents Successful for men but Unsuccessful for women, and gray is Unsuccessful for men but Successful for women, making a visual comparison difficult. Make sure that your comparison metrics are designed to be easy to compare. In the next section, Success Rates by Age, black becomes the "Unsuccessful" color while gray switches to "Don't Know" — it's very important to be consistent so viewers don't get confused by the presentation of info. In all we'd give this a D-.
