More than 50,000 students attended the three major universities in Liverpool over the 2015/16 academic year and that number is constantly rising. The total number of students actually accounts for more than 10 per cent of the population of the city! The city is home to three major universities: University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University. That means it’s a great idea to invest in areas within easy reach of the campuses of at least one of these. The low cost of housing in the city means that your capital investment does not need to be especially high but you have the luxury of knowing there is a strong market for your property once you have bought it. This infographic designed by Prime Centrum has a range of information and stats to help you make the right decision for where to invest your money.

Final Grade

This infographic shows information on student housing in Liverpool. While it has great statistics and a few key visual cues like logos and donut charts, the cramped layout makes it very hard to organize the viewer's journey. Everything is competing for attention and there is no negative space on the righthand 3/4 of the design, so it is hard to focus on any one section. For these reasons we'd give it a C-.
