This infographic was created by a young fan of Penny Skateboards. Penny is a brand known for its high quality, fun and quirky plastic skateboards – and this flowchart shows this. The idea behind this graphic was to help its readers choose which style of board was best for them, based on preferences, beliefs and personality. Why not give it a go?
This is a fun flow chart that just might help a skater find the right board for them! It’s colorful while still making use of a particular palette (for the body of the infographic, anyway!) and there aren’t any errors in the flow, although it is a little off that once you go down one path of a set of answers, it never intersects with another path! Different answers to the same question all lead into the same subsequent question — a little more variety could be fun!
The mix of the header, the icons, and the photos of the boards at the end makes for a bit of a chaotic aesthetic — it’s best to pick one theme or illustration style to move through an infographic cohesively.
In all I’d give this infographic a B- since it’s an effective flow chart, but it could use more unity in design.
