This infographic was submitted to us by Ubiquinol.org, who also provided a brief description:
Ubiquinol is the bioavailable form of Coenzyme Q10. Until recently, coq10 has been prescribed and trusted for cardiovascular health. Ubiquinol and CoQ10 are both found in the body. As we age it is harder for our bodies to convert CoQ10 to Ubiquinol and vice versa.
This gives a very thorough look at what ubiquinol is, why it’s important, how we can get it, and how much to take to keep our hearts healthy. It’s full of useful information that could help a viewer understand why this supplement might be beneficial to them.
Unfortunately the information is conveyed almost entirely through text, which is contrary to the purpose of an infographic. Rather than providing a backdrop for text, infographics should slash and redesign text into icons, data visualizations, and illustrations that will show the story rather than telling it. Two sections of the infographic, “Why Can’t I Just Eat Healthy to Get Ubiquinol” and the final section of the graphic, “Where Can I Get Ubiquinol,” actually accomplish this fairly well, but there is far too much text in most of the rest of the design.
A quick run through to remove the text and add more helpful visuals would boost the grade of this IG, but for now I give it a C as it’s similar to reading a report or article in its current state.
