This infographic was submitted to us by The International Association of Book-keepers, who also provided this description:

The International Association of Book-keepers is the leading professional body of bookkeeping and have a strong focus on providing the best tips to help their students!

These study tips are aimed for students studying in any industry and aimed to help you get the most out of your study time for the best results.

In some portions of the infographic, the balance of text to imagery is pretty good — like the “Work for… 30-50 minutes …then break.” I also like the choice of using each food described under “Thinking Food!” as a sort of background texture in its respective area. Section 3 is an especially effective area for its use of icons with short blurbs of text. Most of the icons are very effective on their own; you get the gist of what the text will say before you even have to read it! However, throughout the infographic there are spots with several lines of text; infographic viewers are hoping to avoid reading beyond a few words at a time.

There is a bit too much negative space in the infographic, resulting in a lot of extra work for the viewer. You practically have to scroll after every mini section break just to get to the next bit of info. Condensing the elements and reducing the font size wouldn’t harm the design and would make it easier to navigate.

In all I’d give this infographic a B: it’s fun and informative, but it could be considerably shorter and there are some text chunks that need to be wrangled!
