This design is a good example of using illustration, almost comic-panel-style, to tell its story. While it includes plenty of hard data, it doesn’t visualize it with charts and graphs to analyze the numbers themselves; rather, it focuses on what the data points are about. This is a good tool to help viewers navigate an infographic quickly and get the information in an easy-to-process format.
There is a bit of erroneous capitalization (“Million” doesn’t need to be capitalized, and neither does “Assisted Living”) and some inconsistent punctuation (periods on some statistics but not others), so always remember to proofread your infographics before launching them!
In all I’d give this infographic a B. It’s effective at its storytelling but needs better proofing, and adding charts, graphs, or quantagrams to some of the data points wouldn’t be a bad idea, either.
