Clear examples of data visualization guide the viewer through the statistics in an easy-to-digest manner, so that they don’t have to sift through a whitepaper to get the information.
The consistent color palette and fonts also help to simplify the information and the flow. This makes for a great B2B aesthetic — it utilizes color and illustration to walk the design line between humdrum and over-the-top.
I do find the hatched sidebar to be a little distracting. I imagine it was added just to create a bit more texture, but it feels a bit out of place to me. I think the simple design can just be owned without needing an extra visual element on the side.
In all I’d give this infographic an A — for a B2B infographic, I think it is accomplishing everything that it needs to.
