There’s a lot of great information here on home improvement and how brushless-motored tools factor in. The infographic focuses on data and keeps text sparing, so the viewer can stay engaged with numbers and visuals.
It would be nice to see the data visualized, as that is a great opportunity to shift focus from numerals/text to visual digestion of information. While the numbers have been included in bubbles to help distinguish them from the rest of the text, more pie charts, pictograms, or other forms of data viz would be even better. The 24% pie chart about drills is the only example of visualized data here, but it’s definitely on the right track!
It’s good to end the infographic with a section on the benefits of BLDC motors as it emphasizes the message of the infographic without becoming salesy. Even though the company produces the product they’re talking about, they avoid the temptation to pitch themselves within the body of the infographic — making the end result more sharable since it’s not an obvious sales piece.
In all I’d give this infographic an A-. A little more visualization and it would be really great!
