This infographic begins with an interesting juxtaposition of photography and illustration. We usually advise against this in infographics, but I think the minimalist style of the illustration is working to an advantage here.
There’s a lot of great information here — surprising to see the big difference between male and female alcohol preferences! Data viz is used quite a bit, but it’d be fun to see it used for the percentages of table wines too!
The section breaks could be a bit more distinct, as it’s sometimes hard to gauge where the eye should go next. Also, the white background is a bit problematic, because it bleeds into the homepage and is tough to distinguish as a separate image. A border, off-white background, or textured background could offset this problem.
In all, I’d give this infographic an A-. It’s engaging, offers great information, and keeps text light. A different background could really help it stand out!
