We Buy Any House submitted this infographic to us!
The content discusses 5 important tips for things you should know before you sell your home, and right away from the design it’s clear what those 5 things are. That’s pretty effective and a great way to organize the information.
However, the graphic relies extremely heavily on text to carry across the information. I’d love to see the paragraphs replaced with full scenes — almost like comic panels — that show the need for each tip and how to carry it out. That would make this less of a reading assignment and a bit more fun. It would also remove the daunting responsibility that’s currently placed on the icons: having to represent all of that information with just 1-2 objects.
It also isn’t clear visually that this infographic is about selling a home. At the bottom is a cute motif of buildings, suggesting the topic might be something about neighborhoods or real estate, but the rest of the visuals don’t reference that and thus the viewer has to read the title and the information to understand the topic. The strongest infographics still convey their topic when text is removed and only visuals remain.
In all I’d unfortunately have to rank this an F as an infographic, but it does have useful information worth reading!

While the icons give a good impression of what the text might be about and the information is really helpful, this design just relies far too strongly on text to give its message. It's more of an article with icons than an infographic: it needs less text, more visuals, and specifically more visual elements of "home"/"selling a home".
