How can a personal trainer cure an obese client?
This infographic was created by Discovery Learning. It illustrates the process that personal trainers use to cure their clients of obesity. Obesity is a disease and can be cured with the proper treatment. It takes a personal trainer knowledgeable enough to devise a radical exercise and diet regime, as well as a great deal of self-discipline and dedication from the client in sticking to that regime.

This infographic uses a variety of patterns, colors, illustration styles, and fonts to talk about obesity. It isn't visually clear what the specific subject is, though. While the plan for color-coding each section has good intentions, the result is a very cluttered design with a good amount of misleading imagery and improper data visualization. For example, the 30% stat at the top right is shown with a quantagram, but extra lines mimicking a donut chart are added. This happens again in section 2, and the lines don't add meaning. The information is scattered and there isn't much negative space, so the eye has trouble finding a place to land. There's also quite a bit of text in proportion to the imagery. We'd give this an F; it's too difficult for the viewer to get through.
