As indicated by the title, this infographic provides a history of social work, since its early professional beginnings in the late 1800s. The overall layout and structure of this piece is clear and helpful for the reader: each year listed features one icon and one piece of information relevant to the subject. Using one icon per entry is an effective timeline strategy, though the shifting illustration styles might prove subtly distracting for the reader. Also, while each icon image is tangentially connected to the content at hand, some could benefit from more focus and direct connection. The content itself is short and precise, which helps the quick consumption of the information. The source list at the bottom of the infographic is also very effective in building the piece's credibility. There's a strong start here to this infographic, so we'd give this a C.
