This infographic offers strategies for protecting your family, and staying safe in your neighborhood. While the messaging of the infographic tells a story, the visuals carry little weight in the infographic's narrative. If you're creating an infographic, the visuals should guide the eye through the piece, not the language. Language can be used sparingly to explicate the meaning of the visuals; however, an infographic should never be dependent upon text. Additionally, in instances where data visualization could be leveraged, simple, graph-related iconography is used to convey that the number is statistical, rather than representing the statistic in the visual. While there is a defined color scheme, there is no defined art-style; the illustrations, photographs, and abstract geometric shapes do not form a cohesive theme. In all, we'd give this a D.
