The sex industry is one of the fastest-growing areas of business, and it is constantly transforming and evolving. There are more than 1 million people employed in this industry in the USA, and the majority of them experience human rights violations. The PornPics.com project provides support to companies led by sex-industry workers and other rights defenders, with the ultimate goal of informing and drawing attention to problems of violence, mental and physical well-being, juridical protection and social rights faced by sex-industry workers.
We aim to attract public attention to these issues, which can be experienced not only by the workers themselves, but also by their relatives and family members. Our team believes that decriminalization of sex labour in the USA can significantly improve the politics relating to human rights protection, as well as ensure compliance with the juridical, medical and social freedoms of sex-industry workers.

This infographic shares critical information about sex workers in the United States, from criminalization to organizational structure to danger. The information is communicated mostly through text, and lacks hierarchy to make key components of the content clear. In all-caps it's difficult to parse, as well. Some imagery is used but with inconsistent frequency and style. Section headers and a more uniform use of illustrations, as well as the introduction of data visualization, would level this up. We also caution against using your own site as your source (or at least, as the sole source); many of these stats are found readily available through public health databases and more, so sharing the primary source improves credibility with audiences. In all, as an infographic we'd give this an F, but there are opportunities to impactfully communicate the message.
