Many are getting creative with the face masks they create or purchase during these times, but are they all effective?

In the infographic, we detail which of these are actually safe to use when it comes to protecting yourself from the virus. Hopefully, this will give you some insight into what types of masks are most likely to protect you, your friends, and your family when going out in public. Stay safe out there!

Final Grade
This design depicts different face mask styles (some practical, many humorous) and ranks them based on several factors. The data visualization is fairly clear, although we wonder if all of these rankings need to be on a scale up to 10 or whether a simple 0 to 5 would suffice. We can also tell at a glance that the content is related to face masks, without needing to read. While the design appears to be primarily meant as a joke, some credibility would come from citing sources for the effectiveness of (at least some of) the different types of masks. A concluding statement about the mask winners would have been a good opportunity to tie the joke together. In all we'd give this a C.
