This infographic comes to us from AsOne.co.uk and compares email to the Bible. I’ll be honest, I’m not sure why there is a need to compare email to the Bible in the first place, as this seems very much like comparing apples to oranges. The infographic would be far more powerful if the reasoning behind this correlation were explained. Upon submission of the infographic, AsOne.co.uk had the following to say about it:
Recently there has been much talk about EMAIL dying. We think EMAIL is still huge so we have illustrated that fact by comparing it to the size of the bible. We go on to describe the vast size of EMAIL comparing it to the EMPIRE state building and trips around the world. All artwork is original!
We have used the King James New Testament bible and have not included spam emails within our results.
That explanation makes it a bit better, but again, it’s not explained on the infographic itself, so this message will be lost on most viewers.
All in all, the design of the IG is OK, but the changing fonts deter readers, which makes it hard to take everything in.
