No one has ever spun the spotlight and asked “Hey, Wessex, have you ever considered what might have been produced WITHIN the cobwebbed confides of your high quality garages?” And to that end, an answer we had not. So we set about researching, and after discovering the amazing bands that started in the garage – we stepped it up, and made an infographic detailing the biggest and best corporations to have started from the bricks and beams of external storage…

One effective use of visual communication is to compare the logos of each company's beginnings to their modern logos. However, aside from the open garage door in the header, no other visual elements speak to garages, making it easy to miss the main subject. Photos or illustrations of each garage would be a great way to reinforce this. There are no visualizations for any of the "Did You Know?" sections, either. While the information is interesting, the lack of visuals as well as a conclusion do take away from the impact of the infographic. I'd give a C overall.
