To celebrate earth day, Global Furniture Group wanted to highlight its commitment to environmental stewardship and green manufacturing. This information is published in our environmental reports every year, but we wanted to make a more user friendly way for our audience to digest it.

For the design, we opted for a mix between graphics as well as personal photos to highlight the people behind Global Furniture Group’s good work. Final Grade

This infographic shows 8 ways that the company Global Furniture Group reduces its environmental impact. This infographic features brief and fairly straightforward text, as well as 8 specific data points as the main subsections. Although this data is relevant to the main subject, the design misses multiple opportunities for data visualizations. Placing the percentage data points within blue circles creates some additional visual confusion, since the circles resemble pie charts filled to 100%. This infographic uses changes in typography size and photos to create a consistent look and feel, but the lack of data visualizations prevents it from being as effective as it could be. Overall, we'd give this a D.
