According to this infographic, Virginia, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire are the top three states to live in. This information is useful to people that want to relocate to a different place. It’s also useful to policymakers that want to improve the quality of the life of their citizens. Entities of the National and Federal Governments provided the information that was used to rank the 50 states of America.

This infographic submission ranks the 50 states of the US from best to live in from worst to live in. At first glance, it's clear to the reader that this is going to be a straightforward numbered ranking in the form of a map. The color scheme is simple and consistent. The data visualization works in two ways: numbers and heat mapping. In general, it is effective. With a superlative ranking like this, it's helpful to know the reasoning behind the ranking, and though there is a section that lists what the analysis is based on, there's no real dive into that detail. A brief introduction on the graphic could provide that information in a sentence or two. Overall, we give this a B.
