Did you know that the luckiest age range for roulette player is 55-64 year old people? Or that the luckiest day of the year is 7th August?
We all know that gambling is all down to skill with a healthy measure of luck, so we wanted to take a closer look to see if there any trends to be seen in our games.
So because at 888casino we love our statistics we thought we would put our data to good use and put it to work to see what we could find.
We have used data collected from our Blackjack and Roulette games such as age, gender, amount won and the date from over the entirety of 2015. We’ve then put all of this into an interesting and informative infographic to show to the world not only the highest-winning time periods, but the luckiest age range, gender and regions from 2015.

The header serves as a good indication of the subject: gambling! While this is brought up subtly in other places on the infographic, overall we wish this was more prominent. The copy is pretty light throughout, which is great. The charts and graphs are helpful ways of interpreting the information, but a few subtle differences could make them more impactful — like highlighting the winner at the location on the graph that indicates the winning value. On the "By Month," "By Day," and regional graphs it feels a little disjointed to display the value of the highest winning months and days so separately from the graphs. Additionally, the measurements of luck in age and gender feel vague in their current state. In all we'd give this a C — improvements could be made both in the data visualization and the overall visual communication.
