Final Grade

This infographic offers up a useful list of 15 items that shouldn't be stored in your garage. The design is bright and attractive, and the header illustration communicates pretty clearly what the infographic is about (though it seems to show a more professional garage rather than a person's home garage). However, when you dig into the infographic's design, there's room for improvement: a mixture of flat and three-dimensional design styles (compare the woman next to the dryer with the wine bottle) gives it an inconsistent look overall. Also, it's way too text-heavy: it should focus on short, bulleted information (perhaps categorized into lists of risks/dangers of keeping the items in the garage) rather than full sentences. There are some small errors in the copy, and some of the reasoning is unclear (why does furniture specifically attract rodents?). In the end, the infographic is useful, but the reader is left to wonder if there's anything that is safe to keep in a garage. Overall, we'd give this a C-.
