This infographic from FastMoney provides a list of 11 untraditional ways of making money. As an ordered set of ideas, the infographic as a whole is clear in communicating its point and takes an organized approach to its topic. Consistency in typography and layout also keeps this infographic easy to read. However, beyond the illustration in the header, the other visual elements are confined to different logos, which (understandably) have varied stylistic and typographic needs. While using logos does provide the infographic with some ethos, as the only other visual element, it can be a bit distracting. In terms of overall goals, one would assume that that each list item helps the reader make money. However, it's evident that for certain companies, a participant would need other items or products before beginning to make money, which might seem misleading. A bit more visual communication that identifies the money-making endeavors would help keep this infographic effective for readers and set the right expectations. As is, we'd give this an F.
