This is a fun infographic on the costs of dropping out of school, brought to us from CertificationMap.com. This infographic is very eye catching – the colors are appealing and work really well together. I really like that the data is visualized: each piece of data has its own little section that is unique and simple, and also cohesive with the rest of the infographic. My only criticism is that the headings at the beginning of each section look a little off. I would rather see them as just text instead of banners and a bit taller.

This infographic comes to us from Certificationmap.com and is about budget cuts for public education in the United States. What I really like about this infographic is that it is short and sweet – the two maps give me a really good idea of which states are suffering the most as a result to cuts in education funding. While the color scheme is not very exciting, it works very well for this infographic. I would like to see the information about what could be done with $15 billion a bit differently, like in a form of a graph or comparison chart as opposed to simply just listing them. For the pieces on specific states, I would have liked to see more information on how this compares to other states.
