This is an interesting infographic from The Car Connection that provides 16 things that most people never knew about the automobile. We drive our cars almost every day int he U.S., but did you know that the first cars used a lever instead of a steering wheel? Another interesting fact is that the first car to move under it’s own power, was constructed in 1769. It was 8,000 pounds, and was used to haul cannons around the town. The first speeding ticket was issued in Dayton, Ohio, and the funny part is that the driver was going 12mph.
