A simple infographic to help illustrate who the 12 true EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) award winners have been over time. The term EGOT started to get very popular when Tracy Jordan on 30 Rock had a goal to reach this highly sought after achievement. The first person to ever reach EGOT status was composer Richard Rodgers, who completed the achievement in 1962 for scoring Winston Churchill: The Valiant Years. The last person to achieve EGOT status was actress and comedian, Whoopi Goldberg in 2002.
