This infographic has gotten a great deal of love lately, including 226K stumbles in Stumble Upon. I’ll be honest, I am a bit surprised since this infographic has SOOOOO much text that it is more like an article with fun pictures. That said, it does provide some fun facts that most people didn’t know including the following:

• Muscles DO NOT turn into fat if you don’t exercise… they just get smaller
• The red juice in raw meet IS NOT blood, it’s water mixed with protein
• Ostriches DO NOT hide their head in the sand… or stick their head in a hole in the ground ever
• Shaving DOES NOT make your hair grow back thicker, stronger, faster, or any other “er” according to numerous studies
• Sushi IS NOT raw fish… but really this one is just semantics because sashimi is raw fish and sometimes sushi has raw fish in it
• The sun IS NOT yellow… it’s white
• You use FAR MORE than 10% of your brain, no matter what anyone says
• Twinkies ARE NOT the go-to food after a nuclear attack, because they do not last forever. They only last about 25 days
• No Bart Simpson, the direction the water swirls down your toilet DOES NOT depend on the hemisphere you live in
• The tongue DOES NOT have taste zones for bitter, sweet, sour, salty, or anything else

These facts are definitely fun, but I’m not sure they required so much content around them. For this to be a pure infographic, it would have been better to find ways to describe this information in design rather than text.
