All information in the Caravanning by the numbers info graphic was sourced from the NCC National Caravanning Council. The Info graphic is provided by Club Care Insurance – providing specialist Caravan Insurance covering Static Caravans, Touring Caravans and more.

All in all, this is a mediocre infographic at best. There are only 6 facts, none of which are actually told through imagery. Here’s a rule of thumb to go by when it comes to infographics: If you can take out all the images and the infographic STILL gets across the exact same information, then you’re doing it wrong. In other words, you’re relying on text to showcase the data and the images are just a subtle compliment to the text. What you need to do is let the images showcase the data… an infographic is a graphic representation of information. That means that the graphics have to show the information… this doesn’t achieve that goal.
