The above infographic is the first in a series by Tech King, who plans on creating many more tech related infographics as time goes on. As a start to an infographic series, this in-depth look at Photoshop sets a great bar for what’s to come. Entitled the Darwinian Evolution of Photoshop, this infographic details the history of Photoshop from 1990 to 2010, starting at version 1.0 and leading up to the current CS5.

On the left of this infographic, it shows the various logos used for Photoshop, which provides a nice trip down memory lane for any graphic designer. It is great that all sources are cited on this infographic, as this shows where all of these images came from. The right half shows the various updates made each year for Photoshop, which is also interesting, especially when you can see just how much Photoshop has evolved over the past few years.

All in all, this is a very fun infographic created by Tech King. Infographics are a great evolution of the internet created by graphic designers, so an infographic that tracks the history of graphic design’s most important software, is a great start to a new series.
