Ins & Outs of the Gambling World

banner

This infographic which covers the ins and outs of the betting and gambling world was created by the team at Footy Accumulators. The purpose of the design was to entertain our readers while still providing hard facts from the gambling commission about the industry. The industry is growing at such a rapid rate that we thought it would be great to display some of the best facts about this in a fun way while still remaining informative. Some of the bets that we covered on the infographic really are quite shocking with odds of over a million-to-one, but some punters got really lucky. Alternatively, we also looked at some huge losses made by gamblers and even some rather large losses made by celebrities!

Final Grade

This infographic shares facts about gambling, from the lottery to casino games and spanning laws and big wins. The infographic is lengthy but thorough and covers a lot of ground. The proportions and layout are a bit tough to navigate as in most places viewers can only see 1 or 2 stats at a time, so there is a lot of scrolling at 21,500 pixels. The illustration styles and colors also vary quite a bit throughout the design; while this may seem like a fun way to keep a long infographic interesting, it's actually better to have a uniform style and palette to create a more cohesive look and feel. In all we'd give this a D.
